NOTICE OF RECALL ELECTION

 FOR THE TOWN OF DOVER

 TUESDAY, JULY 31, 2018

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there will be a recall election for the position of Chairman of the Town of Dover Town Board on Tuesday, July 31, 2018.   The position is currently held by Mario Lena.  The person elected will commence their term of office upon qualification and will hold office until the next regular Town election in April 2019 and the qualification of their successor.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the first day to circulate nomination papers is June 23, 2018, and the final day for filing nomination papers and Declaration of Candidacy is no later than 5:00p.m. on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.  Nomination papers and Declaration of Candidacy are available from the Town of Dover Clerk, Racine County Clerk’s Office or from the Dover website www.townofdoverwi.com/forms.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that there may be a recall primary election.

Acceptable Photo ID will be required to vote at this election.  If you do not have a photo ID you may obtain a free ID for voting from the Division of Motor Vehicles.
